Bayas Andina, within the context of the Andean and Amazonian biodiversity, develops its activities in different ecological zones in Huánuco, Junín, Ayacucho, Puno, Arequipa, Cuzco, San Martin and Cajamarca Peru’s central region where we work in association with small scale farmers that still cultivate ancient, high quality, functional foods. Bayas Andina brings to the small scale farmers different services such as training on the organic production system, assessment on organizational aspects and pays them fair prices.

Currently and in keeping with the principles of sustainability, not only economic, but also environmental and social, Bayas has identified BioTrade as a successful business model, which is being implemented throughout its entire value chain of principles and criteria. The company applies these principles to the fair distribution of benefits, linking it directly with its suppliers and avoiding intermediaries; in addition to undertaking conservation practices and the sustainable use of natural resources without jeopardizing the vital link to ecosystems.
